More about
our brand
Grace & Grit Animal Welfare Consulting, LLC was founded on the belief that compassion and accountability can—and must—coexist in animal welfare.
Born from decades of hands-on shelter experience and legislative advocacy, Grace & Grit was created to serve shelters, rescues, and municipalities across Colorado that are striving to do better with limited resources. We understand the challenges because we’ve lived them—from rewriting ordinances and streamlining intake procedures to building trust in small, rural communities.
Our mission is rooted in two core values:
Grace—for the animals, the people, and the learning curves that come with this work.
Grit—because real change takes courage, consistency, and conviction.
Led by Pamela Briscoe, with over 25 years in the field, we bring proven solutions, real-world experience, and a voice that advocates fiercely for the welfare of animals and the people working to protect them.
